I can use dry pond hike as an entry tag again for this hike with the other group. We started from Whites Creek Park, which is about three miles from the Thomas Creek Trail, which was the destination point for this hike. I use dry pond hike as an entry tag because this is almost the same hike. We hike the Thomas Creek Trail and instead of turning off onto the Dry Pond Trail we keep going on the Mt. Finally hooked up with the third hiking group on Sunday. I've been to Dry Pond with the second group from the other direction, from the trailhead at the end of Timberline Dr. But this one was done from the Whites Creek Trail part of the Jones/Whites Loop.
